This is the route we drive when we have exactly one weekend and no patience for airports. Motorway 7 is dual carriageway the whole way to Chonburi; after that Highway 36 and 3 are busy but straightforward.
Fuel: fill up at the PTT on Motorway 7 (km 56) — it is the last big stop with clean toilets before Ban Phe.
